Seidel is a Baptist Minister and the Associate Professor in the Abner J. Langley and Harold L. Mitton Chair of Church Leadership and Director of Mentored Ministry at Acadia Divinity College, Acadia University, Nova Scotia, Canada. He is the former Dean of Ministerial Formation at Spurgeon’s College, London, and taught subjects such as professional ministerial practice, mission, evangelism, apologetics, preaching and world religions. He is the Moderator of the national British Baptist Union Council, serves as an External Examiner for Durham and Middlesex Universities.

Seidel is a writer, and in addition to the variety of matierial in the public domain for which he is credited, including interviews, academic chapters and journals, magazines, websites, blogs and several articles of interest, he has also co-authored and contributed to the publishing of two books, available on sale now.
